Bought a second hard-drive recently and installed XP64 on it – it’s set as master in bios and boots fine on its own.

My existing drive has XP 32-bit (service pack 3 on it) and is running as slave.

Problem is I’d like to access my existing drive and copy files across, and then format – but I can’t as it doesn’t boot when the old drive is plugged in. Both boot up fine when the other isn’t connected :S

- 3Ghz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
- 3GB Ram
- Windows XP Professional Service Pack 3 / Windows XP 64-Bit

Any tips/advice to get it running would be most appreciated!
