Google is also has adds on right side of page, didn’t think this was normal… I have AVG and Spyware Blaster but they are not picking up anymore… I do not understand why I can not get to some websites can anyone help?

So, I’m pretty sure getting online and downloading virus protection is out of the question. Help please?

And no, this isn’t asked for me, it’s asked for someone else.
And before anyone suggests rebooting the system, this person’s CD drive doesn’t even work.
Once again, this person can’t get on the internet or use his CD drive… But thanks for the helpful tips for future references.
